Kossel 3D Printer
As 3d printing became more of a hot topic, I decided that I wanted to check out what it had to offer. With the high prices of commericial 3d printers, I decided to go the do-it-yourself route and make my own. I saw the complicated but sleek look of delta style printers and decided to go for that design. I found the Kossel Mini 3d printer design and was able to source the parts from several different vendors. There have been a few upgraded components that I have used. switched from an 16bit Azteeg X1 mainboard to a 32bit smoothie firmware based X5 board as well as a few other tweaks to this to make a fully functional 3d printer that I have been using.
