TAP
I have been a leader and active contributor to Taiwanese American Professionals since 2011. Leading in cultural awareness events and social activities that showcase some of the Taiwanese heritage in the San Francisco bay area. Our main event would be the Taiwanese American Cultural Festival held in Union Square, the largest tourist destination in San Francisco. We have over 10,000 people attending throughout the day with stage performances, booths with cultural games such as the diabolo(chinese yoyo), arts and crafts, history booth, photo booths, as well as business sponsors from companies that have originated from Taiwan such as HTC, Visio, and others. I would organize events every month which would include food events, happy hour mixers, film showings, joint organization events, field trips, etc.

During my time at VISA, i have organized the Lunar New event contacting performers as well as performing on stage to promote asian diversity at our company. I would also participate in the San Francisco Chinese New Year Parade and be an active paddler for the Dragon Boat corporate team sport competition. I have also organized corporate group events such as a 10k run representing our group.

During my time at UCR I would organize social events for the Chinese Student Association as well as participate in the group Lion Dance onstage for Lunar New Year festivities.

I was an active member of Association for Computing Machinery at UCR during my time in college.
